Job Description
What you will do
- Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) Buyer responsible for efficiently executing P2P process.
- Identifying, evaluating, qualifying, contracting, onboarding, and developing new vendors/suppliers.
- Sourcing, negotiating, and buying goods, materials, and services to meet the plant’s operational requirements.
- Supporting creation of purchase order systems, alerts for order fulfillment, invoice generation, and providing additional order documentation as needed.
- Managing vendor/supplier relationships and resolving any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing or quality/performance.
- Ensuring a complaint procurement process execution.
- Negotiating pricing on services and MRO supplies, availability and timely delivery; locating alternative vendors; and managing released orders.
