Concrete - Production Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative/ Welder to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in various warehouse tasks in our concrete pouring sheds, operating both power and hand tools as well as welding steel.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welding of steel reinforcement cages
• Able to read drawing and make steel reinforced cages to a high standard
• Stripping out freestanding moulds and handling steel reinforcement cages.
• Assembling and cleaning precast moulds.
• Pouring concrete and finishing units to a high standard.
• Cutting and bending reinforcing steel to be used in the production of concrete products.
• Operating power tools and hand tools.
• Working as a team to meet production standards and deadlines.
• Monitoring situations to adjust and maintain quality.
