About The Role / team / service
We are looking for a Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join our team. The team currently consists of 10 radiation oncologists who are supportive, and dedicated to the provision of an efficient, high quality, patient focused treatment service. We are a very cohesive team, and work collegially with our radiation therapy and medical physics colleagues, which creates a rewarding work environment. We also work closely with our oncology and surgical colleagues with multidisciplinary clinics across several sites. We offer HDR brachytherapy for gynaecological, prostate and skin cancers, and a radioactive iodine service for thyroid cancer. We offer stereotactic treatment to several sites.
