Consultant Urgent Care Physician

Wehave a great opportunity for 2 Urgent Care Fellows to join our busy andthriving Accident and Medical Clinic based in Porirua at KenepuruHospital.

This is a permanent, salariedposition which includes salary step progression as per the MECA, Kiwisaver, CMEand other leave benefits. The clinic operates 24/7 to provide extended primarycare and Urgent Care services to the Porirua community. The Doctor roster is made up of Urgent CareSMOs employed by Kenepuru Accident and Medical Clinic; and contracting doctorswho are clinically appropriate to work in an urgent care clinic. In addition wehave an arrangement with local GPs from Porirua who form the third component ofthe Doctor workforce in the roster. Thereis no requirement to work nights.

The team is supported by a nursing team leadby a Charge Nurse Manager for the department including 2 Nurse Practioners anda Practice Administrator coordinates the teams.
