ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR

Temporary: Day school: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Locations: Various (dependent on student need and geographic location)

Start Date: SEMESTER 1: September 14, 2026 through January 22, 2027

SEMESTER 2: February 1, 2027 through June 11, 2027

Salary: OSSTF District 17, Instructor’s Collective Agreement

Qualifications:

Required: TESL Ontario Certificate. In depth understanding of the Canadian Language Benchmark framework and ability to apply it in lesson planning and assessments. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to be flexible and respond to a wide range of student needs and learning styles. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member.
