Our client is seeking a Controller for a 3-month contract with strong potential for permanent placement.
Location
3-4 days on-site in Mississauga.
About the Opportunity
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and statements on a monthly/quarterly basis in accordance with GAAP.
- Review monthly variance reports and ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement policies to ensure legislative compliance.
- Maintain all financial accounting systems and the general ledger.
- Ensure timely remittance of all statutory requirements.
- Manage proper accounting of capital assets, including recording, amortization, and disposal.
- Present quarterly capital reports to the Board's Finance & Audit Committee.
