Controls Engineer 2
Location:
Oshawa, ON – Hybrid
Pay Rate:
$45/hr – $52/hr
Contract Length:
12 Months
Responsibilities
Engineer and design electrical wiring diagrams.
Design electrical control panels.
Design and troubleshoot programmable logic controller software, with preference for Allen Bradley/RS Logix 5000.
Design programmable human‑machine interface (HMI) software.
Try out, debug, and provide start‑up support for control systems.
Provide technical support for installation of tools and equipment.
Provide technical support for training of plant personnel.
Travel to plant sites as required.
Skills
Proficient with programmable machine controls hardware and software.
Proficient with Servo drive hardware and software.
Proficient with AutoCAD.
Familiarity with basic electrical standards.
