Job Description

The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and handling food products according to established recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations. The role supports the Food Supply Department by ensuring consistent food quality, proper portioning, and timely preparation to meet operational demands.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a cook or in a similar food preparation role (food supply, catering, commissary, or kitchen operations preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production schedules.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
  • Culinary training Cookery is an advantage but not required.
