Control costs via preferential contracts with suppliers, monitoring contract rates vs actual costs, evaluating suppliers, preparing RFQs, assist in designing process flows and workflow requests on Prisma.
Key performance areas:
- Assist with budgeting for operation.
- Monitor the performance of operation against budget and contract prices and liaise with operational managers and directors.
- Prepare tenders for new customers and renewals for existing customers.
- Source new suppliers and evaluate against actual performance (which includes quote comparisons of different suppliers).
- Review invoices from suppliers and compare to agreed contractual rates.
- When necessary, review creditors reconciliations for payment.
- Calculate billing to customers (per contract and operational volumes) and invoice customer.
