The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT scans by the application of ionizing radiation to produce quality images as required under a variety of conditions along with assisting physicians as required in the selection of practical applications and technical factors.

Principal Responsibilities
Produce quality CT scans and be able to anticipate when additional imaging would be beneficial.Good knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.Know the capabilities of the computer/scanner.Able to identify pathology and provide radiologist with accurate measurements and density readings.Operate dry laser printer.Prepare CT films for radiologist to read.Responsible for obtaining outside previous or comparison exams.Familiar with pressure injector and doses.Familiar with contrast material and possible reactions....
