Job Description

Customer Service Adviser – Permanent Post

Grade G – £26,824 to £28,598 per annum. 37 hours per week covering the Customer Service team opening hours 08:45am – 17:15pm Monday to Thursday and 08:45 – 16:45 Friday.

Location: Warwick District Council – responsibilities include the Pump Rooms and the Saltisford office; this role is not suitable for home or hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities

  • Resolve queries at first point of contact via telephone or face‑to‑face, often complex, covering Benefits, Council Tax, Refuse and Recycling and other departments.
  • Provide assistance to residents of Warwick District.
  • Attend training and, after achieving competency, may work from home for telephone enquiries.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in a customer service role preferred but not required; a genuine desire to help people is essential.
