1A Data Engineer designs data products and data pipelines that are resilient to change, modular, flexible, scalable, reusable and cost effective. In addition, the Data Engineer utilizes software engineering principles to deploy and maintain fully automated data transformation pipelines that combine a large variety of storage and computation technologies to handle a distribution of data types and volumes in support of data architecture design.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Understanding the business use of data and the stakeholders requirements to support work processes and strategic business objectives
Leverage data and software engineering techniques, data science to create business value through data accessibility (includes data ingestion, data preparation and analytics processing)
