Data Engineer (Google BigQuery)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, and support scalable data pipelines and data models using GCP technologies
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation
• Work extensively with GCP services such as:
  • Google BigQuery
  • Cloud Composer
  • Apache Airflow
• Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and deliver data requirements
• Support and maintain existing data warehouses and related data pipelines
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance standards are met
• Optimize data processing, query performance, and storage efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the data platform and pipeline ecosystem
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools and technologies in the data engineering space, such as DBT and Monte Carlo
