Job Description
Urgent Role: Data Governance Engineer
Location: Arlington, VA
Experience
6–12+ years in Data Governance / Metadata Engineering / Data Platform governance
Hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Purview configuration and operations
Fabric governance concepts and controls (workspaces, domains, items, sharing)
Strong understanding of:
Data lineage, metadata models, business glossary, classification
Identity/RBAC alignment for governance enforcement
Experience designing integrations with enterprise governance tools (Atlan/Collibra/Alation preferred)
