Join Insight Global's large retail client as a Data Governance Specialist on a 6-month contract focused on Microsoft Purview. This role emphasizes governance practices and secure data access.
In this position, you will support the Data Governance team by operationalizing Microsoft Purview. Your tasks will include optimizing the Purview environment, ensuring system health, and monitoring various platforms such as Databricks and Power BI. You will facilitate automated data scanning and classification, aiding in the identification of sensitive data and mapping data lineage for enhanced visibility.
Key Responsibilities: • Configure and optimize Purview environment settings • Monitor system health and resolve issues across key platforms • Enable automated data scanning to identify sensitive information • Define secure access workflows using Entra ID / Active Directory • Create training materials for effective user navigation
