You will be responsible for creating the underlying infrastructure that enables teams to access, process, and use data efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines
- Develop and optimise data ingestion, transformation, and storage systems
- Ensure data reliability, quality, and availability across the platform
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data use cases
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimisation for data systems
- Manage and improve data infrastructure for batch and real-time processing
- Apply best practices around data governance, security, and access control
