Job Description
Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.
We are actively seeking an experienced Day Program Manager in Las Cruces , NM. The Day Program Manager leads a team to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person will develop and implement all day habilitation activities, assisting individuals in scheduled and regular community activities, and/ or volunteer educational programs.
Responsibilities
Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed
Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition
Assist with obtaining and processing referrals
Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum
Communicate with the families and guardians of individuals we support as need...
