Job Responsibilities
- Assist the product engineer in achieving yield targets, scrap cost targets, debug accuracy targets, and lean project evaluations.
- Support PE evaluations, projects, and analysis; evaluate BOM cost improvements (over temp), test time reduction projects, prime yield improvement, spec file verifications/qualifications (including Partest); confirm OBA failures and perform analyses; conduct ROHS debug and failure analysis; execute real‑time debug and produce debug findings reports.
- Improve debug accuracy through training with a PE buddy (RWK, NTF accuracy; retest reduction opportunities).
- Monitor scrap costs by product.
- Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, cleanroom, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior.
