For a large national industrial engineering design firm based in Newcastle. For a Mechanical Engineer to provide design solutions for Defence projects

• Requires Australian Citizenship and experience with CAD 3D Solid Modelling, CAE FEA and conducting design reviews
• Salary guide: $115,000 to $130,000
• Newcastle region

A normal day includes:

• Providing innovative & cost effective engineering solutions, new approaches & techniques to the design and development of new products and problem solving.
• Providing concept design, preliminary and detailed design analysis of structural and mechanical products utilising CAD 3D Solid Modelling and CAE FEA software applications.
• Providing professional technical report writing and assistance with preparation of tender responses.
