Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental appointments.
- Aid with infection control by sanitizing instruments, establishing tool trays, and preparing materials for oral procedures.
- Assist dentists in managing medical and dental emergency situations when necessary.
- Support dental hygienists with treatments when required.
- Provide excellent patient care and communicate oral health information.
- Document therapy details in patient records.
- Operate and maintain dental X‑ray equipment, including taking and handling radiographs.
- Offer postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain and care for oral equipment and instruments.
- Develop preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations.
