Opus Vitae are recruiting for a fantastic client, with a business in the group searching for a Design Engineer to join a fantastic team. The business are needing skilled Design Engineer to help with customer-lead design projects from concept to manufacture.
The design engineer will work closely with customers, sales, toolroom, production & planning teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood & successfully delivered.
Monday - Friday, covering 40 hours a week day shifts

- Management of customer-led design projects from initial enquiry through to first-off manufacture.
- Design new products & modify existing designs to meet customer requirements
- Identify new materials, processes, or manufacturing techniques to improve quality, reduce cost & enhance performance
- Ensure all designs are suitable for manufacturing within agreed timescales & production capabilities
