The Wire Harness Design and Release Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end design, validation, and release of wiring harness assemblies and associated components for vehicle electrical systems. This role ensures that all design documentation aligns with master models and supports cross-functional activities throughout the product lifecycle - from concept through launch and post-production support. The engineer will collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and quality stakeholders to drive robust design execution, change management, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead and assist in the creation of D models and D drawings for wiring harness assemblies.
