JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Digital Communications Systems Technician (DCS Tech) Duration: 12 months contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Location: Alhambra, CA- Onsite position Interview Process: Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Responsibilities Works under the direction of a Digital Communications Systems Supervisor or user agency personnel. May receive technical guidance from a journey-level Senior Digital Communications Systems Technician (SDCS Tech), higher-level Network Systems Administrator, Telecommunications Systems Engineer, or similar. Installs, configures, tests, maintains, and repairs analog, digital telephone, or data communications systems and equipment. Frequently lifts tools, supplies, and equipment weighing 10 to 25 pounds, and occasionally over 25 pounds. Regularly uses 6-foot and taller ladders.
