Responsibilities
- Office-based with regular trips to offshore/onshore drilling unit
- Plan, lead and supervise all aspects of drilling & completion engineering works for successful, cost effective and safe implementation of COMPANY exploration and development wells. Drilling Manager manages day-to-day drilling activities and operations and ensures all operations are carried out in safe, efficient, and economical manner.
- Manages the planning and execution of drilling projects.
- Plans and develops revisions or enhancements to solve and troubleshoot drilling problems.
- Strategize, plan and schedule preparation to ensure all activities are operated in safe and cost-effective manner.
- Coach and train Drilling/Completion Engineers assigned to the project team to enable accelerated learning for the engineers.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
