Job Description
The Driver‑Kitchen Assistant will support the daily kitchen operations, food transportation, and meal distribution activities within the centre. Their responsibilities include preparing and delivering meals, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, assisting with kitchen duties, and providing classroom coverage during lunch periods. They must manage time efficiently, be reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced childcare or catering environment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (including a 1‑hour unpaid lunch break). This totals 25 paid working hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare food bags for daily meal distribution.
- Label food bags with correct meal numbers.
- Maintain and update food diary records.
- Record and monitor food temperatures in line with food safety procedures.
