General Description
Social media is a key area of focus in the effort to interrupt violence as online platforms are increasingly becoming spaces where youth can both cause and experience harm. Peer pressure, bullying and threats are exchanged via social media and can lead to real life violent behavior. The E-VIBE program will use social media to identify emerging trends, disseminate targeted violence prevention content and, where appropriate, monitor and interrupt potential incidents of violence.
Major Duties
- Complete mandatory EVIBE E‑Mediator training.
- De-escalate online violence and retaliatory actions.
