EHCP Coordinator – Rotheram Council
Remote is not an option; site visits to schools required each week.
Experience
Proven experience working in a coordinator role within a local authority is essential.
- Strong familiarity with SEND Code of Practice
- Strong familiarity with Children and Families Act
- Strong familiarity with relevant education regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal training, demonstrating immediate understanding of statutory processes and deadlines
Technical Skills & Responsibilities
- Experience conducting EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) assessments
- Experience conducting annual reviews
- Understanding of core local authority SEND processes
- No specific system knowledge required, but candidates must demonstrate comfort navigating LA procedures
