Position Overview
CoolIT Systems is seeking an EHS & Medical Advisor to support our Calgary operations. This hybrid role combines Environmental Health & Safety leadership with onsite medical and first‑aid support, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and maintain the EHS program for Calgary operations
- Lead inspections, audits, job hazard assessments, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; identify root causes and corrective actions
- Support compliance monitoring, documentation, and reporting as CoolIT pursues COR Alberta and ISO 45001 certification
- Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and environmental programs
- Deliver safety training and promote a strong safety culture
- Stay current on provincial and federal EHS regulations
- Independently assess and administer first aid and emergency care
