Overview

An EHS Advisor is responsible for ensuring that the specific facility or project is set up and operates in compliance with JEG EHS standards, Client EHS requirements and legal EHS obligations. The following are some key responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Safety Management System: development and implementation of the JEG safety management system on site in partnership with the Site EHS Lead.
• Risk Assessment: Implement good practice risk management methods like RAMS (Risk Assessment/Method Statements), HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), Safe Plans of Action, Pre Start Plans deign in partnership with the Site EHS Lead.
• Incident Investigation: Use Root Cause Analysis (e.g., the 5 Whys) to determine why an accident happened and how to prevent it from recurring in partnership with the Site EHS Lead.
