Hello!
We are seeking a kind, trustworthy, experienced, and flexible caregiver-companion with excellent communication skills who is passionate about providing respectful, dignified, and joyful senior care to our mom. Previous experience/skills in caring for elders with Alzheimer's/Dementia is preferred.
You would be joining my Mom's small care team at our home in Victoria Hill, New Westminster, British Columbia. Mom is from Poland but has lived in Canada for over 60 years and speaks both Polish and English and is comfortable with a wide range of people. (**And, if you speak Polish, that would be a plus**).
My Mom is in the late-intermediate stages of Alzheimer's / Dementia and requires daily companionship plus skilled and attentive care in all aspects of daily living, including overnight oversight/care. She is still mobile (able to walk) and able to dress herself (with assistance) and needs / benefits from passionate, caring companions who engage her...
