Job Description
South West Electrics are offering an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Electrical apprentice! Gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to kickstart your career in this exciting industry.
Wage: £16,640 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
40 hours a week.
Duration: 4 years 6 months.
Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.
What you'll do at work
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Gaining practical experience within domestic, industrial and commercial projects.
- Installing, testing and commissioning electrics.
- Working closely with other trades.
- Reacting to emergency work (with a mentor).
- Using IT to record job information.
- Ordering materials to complete tasks.
