Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0850-14, Electrical Engineer located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DIVISION -CG-ENG-3 in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. Responsibilities You will serve as an Electrical Engineer and be responsible for the development and revision of international and domestic electrical engineering regulations, standards, and policies related to commercial vessels and facilities. Being a Coast Guard (CG) civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Typical work assignments include: Analyzing systems and associated equipment such as electrical distribution, steering, vital automation, electrical propulsion, navigation and communication for the purpose of either developing regulation proposals or for applying existing regulation concepts.
