Position Overview
- Safe and efficient installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of a range of industrial machinery, electrical systems, controls and ancillary equipment
- Supporting the operation in preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work processes and providing feedback to optimize plant reliability
- Adhering to and promoting all safety policies and procedures
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement of area activities or problem equipment
- Perform daily tasks using Computer Maintenance Management Systems
Qualifications
- Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial (442A) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A); in the absence of licensed applicants, qualified apprentices will also be considered
- A motivated attitude, a dynamic approach to getting tasks complete, and pride in accomplishment and craftsmanship
