Based in Poole, this position offers the chance for an Electro-Plater to join a busy, well-established engineering environment where precision, safety, and consistency matter every day. As an Electro-Plater, you’ll be hands-on with cadmium and zinc-nickel processes, playing a key part in ensuring components leave the shop floor finished to the highest standard.
As an Electro-Plater, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing metal components for plating, including cleaning, degreasing, and masking
Mixing and preparing cadmium and zinc-nickel plating solutions to exact specifications
Operating electroplating tanks and associated power supplies
Monitoring current, voltage, and solution temperatures throughout the plating cycle
Checking plating thickness and quality to meet required standards
