Job Description

The Opportunity 
The Elevating Devices Safety Officer is accountable for maintaining and enhancing public safety by educating the public and industry to ensure that codes, regulations and standards of safety are understood and observed.

Status: Regular, Full-Time, Union 
Number of Positions: 1
Pay Grade: 16, starting at $50.08/hr 
Location: Lower Mainland Region (Vancouver or Langley preferred)
Reports to: Operations Leader, TransportationAs an Elevating Devices Safety Officer, you will: 
Inspect: Provide inspection services, including worksite audits, incident investigations and hazard eliminations, to clients and stakeholders to ensure that safety regulations, codes and standards are correctly implemented. Provides input on variance requests to Senior Safety Officer (SSO) when requested.
