Responsibilities
- Operate the local CAD system and develop a solid understanding of its principles.
- Review customer specification control drawings (SCD) and statement of work (SOW) data.
- Review job orders and prepare cost effective design concept based on existing division designs or any new and innovative approach to meet customer’s requirements.
- Create new drawings and parts lists or revise existing ones; work with drafters and checker in correctly completing design from concept through drawing release.
- Review and approve new drawings, parts lists or revise existing ones.
- Assist in the preparation of customer’s proposals and test procedures (ATP, DTP and QTP).
- Prepare design analysis to confirm proper product performance to meet maximum operating parameters.
