Engineer/ Senior Engineer - CAD (R&D)

Manage all aspects of Computer Aided Design (CAD) product drawings to support engineering project from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

Incumbent works on drawings creation, update, and computer aided engineering (CAE) analysis; this may include preparing concepts, detailed sketches, analysis, guidelines and standard references.

Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to support or complete an engineering project and monitor activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met.

Liaise with other operational areas in the organisation (for example engineering, quality control) to ensure tasks assigned able to completed on time and within budget.

This may include conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
