Engineering Manager -.NET, AWS, API Development

Description

:NextGen is seeking a technical Engineering Manager to lead our Enterprise API Core team as part of our company-wide API-First transformation. This highly visible role reports directly to the Director, Software Development of Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy and will collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, and technical leadership to deliver a world-class API developer experience for internal consumers and third-party integrators.

You will own the software development process, including managing technical backlogs, improving unit and automation test coverage, enhancing API performance, and implementing cloud-first observability principles. Additionally, you will build and grow the API team through recruitment and professional development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead recruitment and hiring for R&D team members.

Foster professional development and implement training initiatives.
