Summary You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the ASSISTANT NUCLEAR ENGINEERING AND PLANNING MANAGER of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will participate in conferences, ship checks, and work site visits to determine planning requirements. You will investigate problems related to work performed by other Shipyards. You will monitor allotted funding to ensure over expenditures are minimized. You will prepare job order specifications. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
