Engineering Technician

Qualifications Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English<br>Responsibilities The engineering & Continuous Improvement Technician (Analyst) will provide technical support to the shop floor, starting in the grinding department. The engineering technician will work on a team consisting of operations lead, operators, process engineer, quality engineer and maintenance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Improve throughput and quality through the Commerce grinding department Develop OEE tracking and reporting Minimize scrap and rework through grind process control - Minimize turnaround time (TAT) and inventory in the grinding department by reducing changeover times, reducing batch sizes, and other means. - Improve department 5S score - Measure and improve OEE with a target of 85% - Assist in development and training of new operator...
