Job Description
We seek a dynamic, passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of English to join our English Faculty.
Applicants should have a current New Zealand Teacher Registration and a working knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum with the ability to teach Year 9-13 the English New Zealand curriculum consisting of the exploration and making meaning of literature and the creation of meaning through written texts.The successful candidate will have:
- a genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA
- experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels
- ability to be a team player who will work collaboratively to raise student achievement
- knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure Te Reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld
- relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura.
