Job Description
Sorting, labelling, and preparing insect specimens for identification and analysis. Assist with taxonomic identifications of bee species and other insects. Follow detailed protocols and manage and record samples with integrity. Keep detailed laboratory notes. Work effectively in a team environment, participate in meetings, and communicate clearly and professionally with other team members (in English or French). Assist with data entry in Excel and other database software. Participate in workshops for the broader community as part of our outreach initiatives. Performs other related duties as required, including assisting staff in processing insect specimens for museum storage. Most duties involve prolonged sitting and repetitive tasks. What We Offer
