Description:

The Environmental and HAZMAT Coordinator is responsible for managing environmental compliance and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) programs within the organization. This role ensures adherence to regulations, promotes sustainability initiatives, and provides training and support to employees regarding environmental practices and HAZMAT handling. Ensures program goals protect employee health and prevent workplace hazards and injuries. Conduct internal inspections and audits on workplace environments for compliance with regulations, host nation standards in support of MNG's mission and acts as the company spokesperson during environmental and HAZMAT inspections. Other duties include training employees, investigating workplace incidents, flagging environmentally hazardous conditions or areas, and developing countermeasures for those hazards identified.
