Job Description
Dry utility Estimator:
Min 3 years’ experience with primary focus on dry utility projects (power & communications work) or wet utility projects This position is for underground systems and is not for overhead system and does not involve cable pulling / terminating Will be required to take and estimate from inception to completion, including transitioning a winning bid to operations In depth knowledge with various type of shoring systems Needs background in underground power & communications systems as well as paving & concrete as it related to utility construction Must have worked for self-performing contractor that performs at-risk work (no construction managers or governmental estimators) Most of our work is in metropolitan areas so needs experience in constructing projects in existing streets Support operations with change order pricing and alternative methodology analysis Specialties
