Purpose
Review blueprints, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate time, cost, and labor estimates for projects while ensuring cost efficiency and supporting successful bids.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project documents to prepare detailed cost, material, and labor estimates
Track actual costs vs. bids; recommend adjustments and cost-saving measures
Collaborate with engineers, owners, contractors, and vendors to resolve estimate issues
Prepare itemized lists, bids, and proposals for management and client use
Conduct site visits before bids and during construction
Support long-term planning and business development efforts
Ensure compliance with all company safety policies
