Job Description
Join the exceptional culinary team at the Wickaninnish Inn on Vancouver Island as an Experienced Sous Chef. This role offers a chance to thrive in a recognized fine dining environment full of prestige.
At the Wickaninnish Inn, your expertise as a Sous Chef will be instrumental in maintaining world-class service standards. You will partner with the Chef and other Sous Chefs to manage kitchen operations, uphold culinary excellence, and ensure a positive dining experience for guests. Your role will also extend to staff training, menu planning, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality guest service as per AAA 4 & 5 Diamond standards
• Supervise and train kitchen brigade effectively
• Support Chef in culinary program operations
• Maintain food safety and hygiene practices
• Participate in menu development actively
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fine dining setting
• Journeyman/Red Seal Certification is an asset
