Join Badger Manufacturing as a Sandblaster and play a key role in surface preparation. Utilize sandblasting equipment to ensure superior finishes on high-quality products.
In this role, you will set up and handle sandblasting machinery, maintain optimal cleaning standards for metal materials, and load components into the blast booth. Successful candidates will have a strong background in sandblasting and a keen eye for detail, crucial for achieving the best results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate sandblasting equipment carefully
• Clean and prepare metal materials for finishing
• Load and unload parts from the blast booth efficiently
• Apply protective masking to surfaces as required
• Remove excess grit from cleaned materials
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months of experience in a sandblasting environment needed
• Valid Confined Space Certification preferred
• Familiarity with forklift operation is beneficial
