Our client seeks a skilled fitter with over ten years of traditional fitting experience. This hands-on role involves guiding junior members, ensuring high-quality outputs, and maintaining a clean shop environment. You will become part of a dedicated team focusing on excellence and meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Independently fit using advanced tooling and jigs
• Safely handle materials with overhead cranes
• Lead and mentor junior fitters as required
• Select proper tools for fitting assignments
• Address and resolve welding challenges
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of experience in fitting
• FCAW (Flux Core) proficiency
• Expertise in thick gauge structural steel
• Safe operation of welding equipment
• Strong knowledge of industry safety practice...
