Job Description
Become a key part of Extendicare's care team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the overnight shift from 23:15 to 07:15. Deliver essential nursing care in a supportive environment.
This part-time position reports directly to the Director of Care or Director of Health & Wellness. Your role will include conducting assessments, managing care documentation, and participating in resident care conferences. Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and evaluate resident care plans
• Assist in scheduling care conferences
• Provide education to residents and families
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures
• Coordinate emergency responses when necessary
Requirements:
• Valid LPN registration in the applicable province/state
• Preferred experience in senior care settings
• Excellent critical thinking and coordination skills
