Facility Supervisor, Unity-2 (Ottawa)

Responsibilities

• Supervising and delegating work to a team of approximately three to four technicians.
• Controlling the activities of all staff that work within the facility, maintaining strict access control, authorizing activities, and overseeing work.
• Building and leading a highly motivated team by coaching, training, and mentoring.
• Acting as a designate for the Facility Manager.
• Acting as the Officer‑in‑Charge (OIC), managing the emergency response function within the facility.
• Assisting Unity‑2 projects, which are typically complex research activities, and performing maintenance activities, equipment replacement or upgrades, or process improvements.
• Completing required training as defined in the Conduct of Operations Procedure for qualified staff and the Supervisor Training Plan.
